1. What Brightside is

Brightside is a local business directory for Toronto. We publish listings, guides and reviews to help people find great bars, restaurants, spas, hotels, stays and outdoor experiences. Listings are verified by our team but opening hours and availability can change — please confirm with the business before visiting.

2. Using the site

You may browse every page without an account. You agree not to scrape listings in bulk, misrepresent a business, or post reviews for places you have not visited. Wishlists are stored in your own browser and never leave your device.

3. Reviews

Reviews must be honest, lawful and based on a genuine visit. Businesses cannot pay to add, change or remove reviews. We may edit or remove content that is abusive, misleading or off-topic.

4. Business listings

Submitting a listing is free. By submitting, you confirm the details are accurate and that you are authorised to represent the business. We review submissions within two business days and may decline listings that fall outside our categories or coverage area.
